About

The person behind the work, in plain words.

I am Lindsey Sim Jordan Jr, the designer and developer behind LS Jordan Design. For more than thirty years I have helped partners bring digital products to life across private, education, government, and commercial work.

I work full stack and end to end. I am a developer and software engineer as well as a UI, UX, and graphic designer, so I can carry a project from the first Figma frame all the way to a live, accessible website or app without handing it between teams. Nothing gets lost between a designer and a developer, because they are the same person.

At the National Science Foundation I spent three years as the web development specialist for a division, with a deep focus on accessibility and equitable experiences for every visitor. I also produced the design for the agency's research journals and reports. That accessibility first care runs through everything I build now.

I have built for brands like Under Armour and for mission driven organisations like the Urban League of Greater Atlanta and Junior Achievement of Canada. Custom WordPress, custom plugins, native apps, and sites that hold up to real accessibility law are everyday work for me, not a stretch.

I bring a renaissance approach to the craft. Graphic design, instructional design, UI and UX, web development, illustration, and project management all live under one roof here, and they make each other better.

One partner, start to finish

The same hands design it and build it, and the same person stays with you after launch. I still serve clients like the Urban League month after month. I do not disappear when the site goes live.

Accessibility is my background, not an upsell

I came up doing accessibility work for a federal agency. When your project needs to welcome everyone, you are hiring a specialist, not a generalist learning on your dime.

I have done this exact job before

Custom builds, platform migrations, redesigns, and app launches are my everyday work. Whatever move you are about to make, odds are good I have made it with someone already.

Never a single point of failure

I build on standard, well documented foundations you own outright. Any qualified developer can pick the work up, and for larger pushes I bring in a small circle of trusted collaborators.
